Kirpatrick
I'm sort of medium size and my
parents most likely were Cattle dog and Boston Terrier types.See
what a goof I am. I love to play and to cuddle. I was born in Sept
of 2006

Ebony
I'm Ebony,
and as my name suggests, I'm solid black. I'm a little bit shy at
first, but it doesn't take me long to want to play and be loved.
Honest they really aren't choking me I just didn't want my photo
taken as I hadn't combed my hair yet.

Erica
What a baby doll!! Erica is a year old beagle
mix. She is small weighing only 17 pounds. Black and tan, marked just like a
Shepard. Very playful and would be a great children's pet. Loves other dogs, has
never been around cats. She is working on her house training.

Marcia
Pretty delute tabby - grey,orange
and white who would love to come and live with you.

Blossom
A Australian Shepherd- Boxer mix
Born Nov of 2006. White with tan patches. Has a pretty pink speckled
nose. Approximately 40 pounds. Would make a good agility dog or
running partner. Good with other dogs, but may knock small children
down. Best with kids older than 8. Loves to haver her ears rubbed.

Help is
needed
Representitives
from Friends for Animals will be heading to Washington DC in July
and need your support. Please help and show your approval for
legislation that would make the fines for dog fighting and animal
cruelty stronger. If
you could stop in at the shelter and sign the
endorsement form that will be
available there, send your own special letter to the shelter address
at P.O. Box 1884, Morganton, NC 28680 or send a e-mail message to
pegdemarco@earthlink.net
This would be a huge help to us in showing that North Carolina cares
about its animals
We are under a
deadline of JULY 16
so we hope you will take action right away to
help us

Baby Girl
is a gentle lady born in November of
2002. She lived her life with an elderly woman, but her owner can no
longer care for her. Baby Girl suffered an eye infection as a kitten
and may have some vision loss in both eyes. She must be an indoor
only kitty. She sees well enough to get around, but may be in danger
outdoors. Baby Girl has never been with children and should not go
to a home with small ones. She would be fine with older children who
know how to treat cats. She is alright with other cats, and would
like to be adopted with her friend Pasqual, who she has lived her
entire life with.
