The BCFFA could not operate without the help of our amazing and dedicated volunteers! Our volunteers perform a wide array of duties around the shelter, some of which are listed below. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application form and send it to the address at the bottom of this page, or bring it by in person! If you are seeking employment, we also have an employment application form you can fill out as well.
Volunteers meet every third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Adoption Center. Please come and meet us and see what you might be interested in helping out with. We promise we don't bite.
-Volunteer Duties-
- Walking dogs
- Socialize Cats. Brushing, Playing with toys, Petting
- Socialize Puppies. Bathing, Playing, Teaching them to walk on a leash
- Helping with cleaning around the shelter
- Washing dishes and bedding
- Help with the public, answer phones, show them around
- Sorting newspapers
- Helping out at Pet smart! (We need a lot of this)
- Help at fund raising events
